Due to company
expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a bright and commercially savvy
individual to join our team developing international conferences for the polymer
and life sciences industries. You will be responsible for developing technical
programmes, identifying and recruiting top-level speakers and implementing strategic
marketing campaigns.
Candidates will
be degree educated or equivalent with strong written and verbal communication
skills and excellent project management skills. This is an exciting role for
a confident, self-motivated individual offering real opportunities for career
development and regular travel throughout Europe. Previous events experience
will be an advantage but is not essential.

we have some exciting new publishing opportunities within Smithers Publishing,
UK.
Smithers Publishing is expanding
its Publishing Programme and needs three new Commissioning Editors to work on
a new list of technical books:
Post 1: Demonstrate
experience in the Polymer Industry.
Post 2:
Demonstrate experience in the field of Ecotoxicology.
Post 3:
Demonstrate experience in the Pharma Industry.
These posts will be part
time and exact working hours and location of work can be flexible.
We are looking for people
with academic or industrial experience with strong connections in their field
of expertise.
Experience in publishing
would be advantageous but is not necessary as we are willing to train with the
right candidates.
