Many aviation products are required to operate in locations where they will be susceptible to accidental or deliberate fluid contamination, where material degradation as a result of fluid susceptibility can lead to premature failure.
Smithers Rapra has the capability to provide fluid susceptibility testing to recognised aerospace standards or customer specific parameters. Our test equipment has been developed & proven on site & is flexible to satisfy demanding testing criteria.
Fluid Susceptibility Testing

- EUROCAE
- RTCA/DO-160
- DEF STAN 00-35 Part 3 Test CN4
- MIL-STD-810
We have available an extensive range of fluids that can be applied over a wide temperature range, via spraying, brushing, or immersion.
Components or material samples of various dimensions & geometry, ranging from fabrics to large components can be tested in various chamber sizes.
