Our project work covers a broad spectrum of business sizes, from advising local Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) companies on production and product development issues to working with large international businesses on European-funded research initiatives via the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes (FP6 and FP7).

Smithers Rapra regularly undertakes analytical projects for public health and safety issues and advanced research projects on key areas of innovation, such as composites, biopolymers, natural reinforcement using plant fibres, recycling, nanotechnology and energy conservation.
