Climatic Tests & Weathering

Climatic tests broadly aim to represent the worst aspects of service life in as short a space of test time as possible. Most combine extremes of these conditions in a single test protocol.

Thermal & Humidity Cycling

Components & systems are subjected to extremes of high & low temperature using a variety of thermal chambers, in which termperature & humidity conditions can be programmed & applied to the test parts in cycles. We routinely test over conditions of +120ºC, -40ºC & upto 99% RH.

Accelerated Weathering (light resistance)

Our customers have access to a wide range of weathering machines, including Xenon Arc weatherometers, Xenotest, QSun & QUV machines, in addition to which we facilitate other types of testing including real-time Florida & Arizona climates.

Thermal Shock

Our 3 stage thermal shock machine enables samples to be exposes to hot & cold temperatures at a high rate of temperature change (shock transition times <10seconds,) & also allows temperature fatigue cycling to be undertaken in much shorter timescales than with conventional climatic chambers.

Salt Spray

We can perform salt spray & corrosion testing to a variety of test standards, on wheels, exterior & even interior components.
